This power couple wedding was truly one of the most talked about events of the year and we can totally relate as to why.

The terms 'Tale as Old as Time' was written, alongside the couple’s initials being engraved onto the stunning wedding card. The grand Contemporary Arts Center was the venue of choice, being decked up in glorious white tents with a standout dreamy golden floral arch. All the tables looked heartwarming as yellow and blue luxe seasonal blooms were seen cascading.
Attendees were seated at the grand reception on luxurious sofa seating that faced the aisle and not the traditional altar. All the tables for guests were named after William’s renowned 12 Grand Slam Titles. Guests were also treated with favours that resembled trophies Serena received for her wins. It was picture perfect indeed. The famous RNB group from the 70’s, New Edition played a 5 set song that made attendees shake a leg on the dance floor.
Beauty and the Beast Themed Wedding Affair
Now that’s what we call a fabulous theme by all means. The bride and groom chose Beauty and the Beast as their wedding theme and it was truly unique. Guests were told to dress in the theme and they were welcomed into the venue with the film’s renowned song, “Be our guest.” Famous attendees included names of countless influential celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Lala, Beyonce and Colton Haynes just to name a few. The event included fun twists such as a carousel ride and glass encased glazed donuts dropping down from the ceiling to guests’ awe.
Wedding Day Footwear Fit for a Tennis Queen

The Bride’s Outfit Change
Serena Williams didn’t just win hearts with her wedding dress. The bride opted for a beautiful white feathery number as her first outfit change at her reception, designed by Versace and paired the look with matching short heels. The fitted feathery attire is known to have taken 1500 hours to craft to perfection. This was followed by another outfit change, comprising of a cocktail gown by Versace as well, where the bride could be seen serenading with her groom on their first dance.
The bride chose to keep her look modern and minimalistic chic, sporting minimal makeup and her hair done up beautifully into a side bun. This was complemented with an alluring and matching classic white bouquet, shining belt and jewels by XIV Karats.
